Kinemetrics/Truetime 468-DC NBS Time Display. (Inv #7669) This true-time display monitored GOES satellites to display correct time accurate to a millisecond or better. The GOES satellite system was expanded into the modern GPS satellite system. This display dates from the mid-1980s but there is a wealth of information available on the web about this instrument including many computer programs; it apparently was the display of choice for "time junkies" and experimentors.
